The Swiss Pain Institute offers treating physicians a range of services for their chronic pain patients.
Depending on the diagnosis, our team of FMH and SSIPM physicians can take charge of your patients within 24 hours. The benefit priority chart linked below shows the different appointment models and how the Swiss Pain Institute can manage the patient depending on the diagnosis.
For a prescription, we need the following documents and information about your patient:
- Referral letter with diagnoses / medical history / medication
- Expectation / treatment proposal
- Possible operation reports
- Radiology reports
- Latest laboratory results
- Reports from other specialists e.g. rheumatology / neurology etc.

For a prescription at the Basel site, doctors are asked to complete the Institute’s presentation document. (PDF).
